Andre Seibald and Valerie Katz-Seibald, partners in business and life, met at Johnson and Wales University in Rhode Island. They had the privilege to live and work in Caracas, Curacao, Providence, Boston, New York City and London under celebrity chefs and mentors before moving to Miami, FL and reopening Q Restaurant Lounge in 2007.
Q Lounge hosted a myriad of events. Soon, Val and Andre started doing takeouts, caterings, private and corporate events. In 2016, they proudly opened a state-of-the-art kitchen that will allow them to continue leading in the catering industry and expand their services to more clients and markets. Andre Seibald is the Executive Chef of PLAYCHEF KITCHEN. Valerie Katz-Seibald is the general manager and creative director of the company. They have been married since 2005 and have two daughters, Nicole and Emma.
